Agents Overview

An Agent is the central brain of an Ortavox interaction.

It handles conversation memory, system prompting, tool selection, and speech synthesis configuration. Every phone call or web call is connected to exactly one active Agent.

Core Properties

• Model Configuration: Select which LLM (e.g., GPT-4o, Claude 3.5 Sonnet) powers the responses.
• Voice Configuration: Define the personality and pitch using providers like ElevenLabs, Deepgram, or OpenAI.
• Tools: Give the Agent the ability to query databases, check calendars, or transfer calls.
